No Girls
Back in the olden days, in the Ancient Olympic Games, there was only men playing, but for some reason girls were not allowed to compete in the events?? But what they could have done was to let, some girls play, cause it’s not fair, that men were the only ones that were allowed to play, but girls weren’t. Well back in the olden days, it was really weird, and confusing at the same time but that’s just the way it is.

Hi Annelis! I am really glad to see that you have decided to complete the bonus activity for Day 1. I definitely agree with you that the rule was a bit strange and a bit confusing. As a girl, I think that it is also really disappointing as I would have loved to participate in the games. It seems only fair that both men and women should be given equal opportunities to participate in events, particularly when they are as important and as special as the Olympic Games. I'm very happy to see that women are now allowed to participate in the games and to be recognised for their abilities.

DeleteHi Aneelis,
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate the effort that you went to to write your response to this activity. It is quite a difficult question and you considered it carefully. I completely agree with you that women deserve respect and should be treated with care and love, although I do think that competing with men in events like wrestling may not have been a very safe idea.
Keep it up!
